How can I check on my pet during their stay?

You are always welcome to text us to check in on your pet during their stay. We’re happy to provide an update when time allows.

We also occasionally share photos and updates in our Facebook group, but posts are not guaranteed for every pet or every stay. Our priority throughout the day is always the hands-on care of the pets staying with us.

If we have any concerns about your pet’s health, behavior, or well-being, we will contact you directly.

What do you supply for overnight boarding?

We provide the essentials needed for a comfortable stay, including food and water bowls, clean blankets or bedding, and an elevated Kuranda cot or therapeutic pad for dogs.

Dogs stay in their own private indoor/outdoor accommodations, with access to their attached outdoor run throughout the day when weather and temperatures permit.

Cats stay in their own private boarding suites with bedding, litter and litter pans provided.

We recommend bringing your pet’s regular food to help maintain their normal diet and routine. Food can also be provided by us for an additional charge.

What can I bring from home?
You’re welcome to bring a reasonable amount of familiar items such as:

  • Your pet’s food and treats

  • One blanket or small bed

  • A few favorite toys or an appropriate chew

Please label personal belongings with your pet’s name. While we do our best to keep track of everything, we cannot guarantee that personal items will not become damaged, so please leave irreplaceable items at home.

My pet has a special diet or needs medication administered. Can their needs be accommodated?

Absolutely!  Our staff can accommodate any and all medications, supplements, and special diet requests our guests require during their stay.

Medication & Supplement Policy

Yes. We can accommodate most special diets, supplements and medications depending on your pet’s individual needs.

Please provide all medications in their original labeled containers along with clear administration instructions. Prescription diets, supplements and prepared meals should also be clearly labeled with your pet’s name and feeding instructions.

Medication Administration:
A $5 per day medication fee applies when medication must be physically administered by staff or requires administration at a specific time outside of our normal feeding routine.

Medications or supplements that can simply be added to your pet’s regular breakfast or dinner may be given without an additional fee.

For the safety of both your pet and our staff, we cannot physically administer medication to pets who are unwilling to safely accept it or who present a bite risk during administration. If your pet requires medication that cannot safely be missed and does not reliably accept medication, veterinary boarding may be the safest option.

For the safety of your pet and our staff, if we are unable to administer medication to pets who are aggressive or unwilling to take it. In such cases, we strongly recommend boarding your pet with a veterinary facility.

What vaccinations are required?  Are titers accepted?

All boarding guests must have current vaccination records on file prior to their stay.

Dogs:
Rabies • Bordetella • Distemper/Parvo (DHPP/DAPP)

Cats:
Rabies • FVRCP

Canine Influenza vaccination is recommended but not currently required.

Titers are accepted when appropriate documentation is provided.

Bordetella vaccinations must be administered at least 72 hours prior to boarding. We recommend keeping your pet’s vaccinations current well in advance of their scheduled stay rather than waiting until the last minute.

Proof of current vaccination records is required before your reservation can be finalized.

How often does my dog have outdoor access?

Weather permitting, dogs have access to their private attached outdoor run throughout the day, allowing them to move between their indoor and outdoor spaces as they choose.

During extreme heat, cold, rain, or other unsafe weather conditions, outdoor access may be limited or provided at scheduled times for the safety and comfort of our guests.

How Much Space Does My Dog Get?

Each dog has their own private indoor/outdoor accommodation, providing separate areas for rest, meals, fresh air, and movement throughout the day.

  • Indoor area: 4 ft × 4 ft (16 sq. ft.)

  • Attached outdoor run: 4 ft × 8 ft (32 sq. ft.)

Together, each dog has 48 square feet of private space, with the ability to move between their indoor and outdoor areas throughout the day when weather permits.

Unlike group-style boarding, your dog does not have to share their living space with unfamiliar dogs.

Indoor accommodations include an elevated Kuranda cot or therapeutic pad, blankets, and food and water bowls.

Cancellation Policy

Boarding Deposits & Cancellation Policy

A $50 deposit per pet is required to secure all boarding reservations. Reservations are not confirmed or finalized until the deposit has been received. The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your stay.

Because we intentionally limit the number of boarding reservations we accept, confirmed reservations hold space specifically for your pet and remove that space from availability for other clients.

Regular Boarding Reservations:
Deposits become non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled check-in date.

Peak Holiday Reservations:
Deposits become non-refundable within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in date.

Peak holiday reservations are also subject to our Holiday Rates & Reserved Stay Responsibility Policy listed below. If you choose to pick up your pet before the originally scheduled departure date during a peak holiday reservation, you remain financially responsible for all dates reserved.

Holiday Rates & Reserved Stay Responsibility

Holiday rates apply to the following peak date ranges and are an additional $5–$8 per pet, per day.

Memorial Day: May 22nd – May 25th

Independence Day: July 3rd – July 7th

Labor Day: September 4th – September 7th

Thanksgiving: November 23rd – November 30th

Christmas & New Year: December 20th – January 3rd

When a holiday reservation is confirmed, that space is held specifically for your pet and is unavailable to other clients. If you choose to pick up before your scheduled departure date, you will still be charged for all dates originally reserved.

This policy allows us to carefully manage our limited holiday capacity and staffing while continuing to provide individualized care.
